창원특례시, "유공시민 표창 수여식" 개최

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 28일 시민홀에서 ‘2022년도 3분기 시정발전 유공시민 표창 수여식’을 개최했다. 수여식은 지역사회와 시정발전을 위해 공헌한 시민 100여 명을 선정해 진행됐다.

이날 표창 대상자들은 평소 지역을 위해 묵묵히 봉사해 온 시민들로, 주부, 학생, 자원봉사자, 이?통장 등 시민 사회 저변에서 봉사해온 다양한 계층이 선정됐다.

특히, 제11호 태풍 ‘힌남로’가 휩쓸고 지나간 후 관내 도로, 주요 시가지 등 복구 작업과 환경 정비 작업에 발 벗고 나서준 시민들과 39사단 마산대대 장병들, 임항선 그린웨이를 이용하는 시민들에게 무료로 화장실을 개방해 온 시민 등 보이지 않는 곳에서 묵묵히 봉사해 온 시민들이 공로를 인정받아 표창을 받았다.
