지난 9월 26일 진행된 예선 심사에서 4인의 전문가로 구성된 심사위원단은 음악성, 대중성 등 엄정한 심사를 통해 작사/작곡(2팀), 가창(4팀), 싱어송라이터(8팀) 부문 별 총 14팀의 본선 진출자를 선정했다.
