(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시와 인천관광공사, 인천항만공사가 자가격리해제 및 무비자입국 등 빗장을 연 대만의 크루즈 관광객 선점 및 유치를 위해 대만 최대규모 관광박람회인 ‘타이베이 국제여전’에 참가했다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 올해 11월 4일부터 8일까지 열린 타이베이 국제여전(ITF)은 매년 35만 여명(2019년 기준)의 관람객이 방문하는 대만 최대규모 관광 박람회로 올해는 코로나19 이후를 준비하는 40여개국 300여개 기관이 참가했다.
인천시는 이번 박람회에서 인천관광공사 및 인천항만공사와 함께 크루즈 홍보부스를 운영하여 대만의 크루즈 관광객을 대상으로 크루즈 기항지로서의 인천의 매력을 적극 홍보했다.
대만 크루즈관광객 방인을 위해 웅사여행(雄獅旅遊), 동남여행(東南旅遊), 백위여행(百威旅行) 등 대만의 주요 크루즈 여행사를 대상으로 비즈니스 상담을 진행, 인천의 국내 최대 규모 크루즈 부두시설, 공항과 인접한 입지여건, 현지문화 체험을 포함한 다채로운 관광지의 매력을 알리는 홍보 활동을 펼쳤다.
