희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)는 침구 브랜드 알레르망 등을 전개하는 이덕아이앤씨의 김종운 대표가 고액 기부자 모임 ‘희망브리지 아너스클럽’에 가입했다고 21일 밝혔다.
희망브리지 아너스클럽은 부의 가치를 알고, 재난으로 고통받는 이웃들이 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있도록 그들의 곁을 든든하게 지키는 기부자들의 모임이다.
김 대표는 지난 2020년 코로나19 확산 방지와 재난 취약계층 지원 등을 위해 써달라며 1억원을 희망브리지에 기부한 바 있다.
김 대표는 전날 서울 마포구 희망브리지에서 열린 희망브리지 아너스클럽 회원 위촉식에서 “이덕아이앤씨는 우리나라가 복지 선진국가가 되는 데 이바지하는 마음으로 장학사업과 장애인·어린이·노인 등 사회적 약자를 도와왔다”며 “우리 사회 구성원 모두가 행복하게 지낼 수 있도록 앞으로도 사회공헌 활동을 계속해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “재난에 쉽게 노출되는 주변의 어려운 이웃들에게 큰 힘이 되어주신 김 대표께 감사드린다”고 말했다.
