[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 박완수 경남도지사는 연말을 맞아 민생현장을 방문해 자립준비 청년들의 도전을 응원하고 기업과 현장 소통을 강화했다.
박 도지사는 30일 오전 아메리칸트레이 창원상남점을 방문해 자립준비청년 참여자와 종사자들을 격려하고 이어 한진부산컨테이너터미널을 찾아 항만하역 현장을 둘러보며 관계자의 목소리를 듣는 시간을 가졌다.
창원지역자활센터 청년자립도전사업단인 아메리칸트레이는 자립준비청년들의 안정적인 일자리와 사회적응을 위해 현대위아(주)와 초록우산어린이재단이 후원하고 자립준비청년을 참여시켜 지난 10월말부터 운영 중에 있다.
아메리칸트레이를 찾은 박 도지사는 본격적인 사회 진출에 앞서 경제적.정서적으로 자립하고자 노력하고 있는 자립준비청년들의 일터현장을 둘러본 뒤, 관계자를 격려하며 애로사항을 청취했다.
박 도지사는 “자립준비청년들이 우리 사회의 든든한 구성원이 될 수 있도록 안정적으로 자립을 도모하고 사각지대 없는 복지지원 체계를 구축하는 데 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
