[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 6일부터 9일까지 국제자매도시 일본 히메지시와 화상회의 어플 줌(Zoom)을 이용한 청소년 교류회를 작년에 이어 두번째로 개최한다고 6일 밝혔다.
이번 교류회는 청소년 간의 지속적인 교류를 통해 상호이해 및 우호협력을 증진하고자 마련되었으며, 창원컨벤션센터 내 큐피트센터와 일본 히메지시 문화국제교류재단 회의실에서 6일(금), 8일(일), 9일(월) 총3회에 걸쳐 진행된다.
창원특례시 중고생 10명과 히메지시 중고생 8명은 자기소개, 나라 및 도시소개, 퀴즈, 게임, 소그룹 주제토의 및 질의응답 등을 통해 서로의 문화를 이해하며 교류하는 의미 있는 시간을 가진다.
이번 교류회는 2001년부터 매년 실시해 오던 히메지시와의 홈스테이 교류사업이 코로나19로 잠정 중단되면서 이를 대신해, 히메지시 문화국제교류재단의 제안으로 실시간 온라인 방식으로 전환하여 추진한 사업이다.
