[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시 하수도사업소는 마산합포도서관 겨울캠프 초등학생들이 12일 방문했다고 밝혔다.
하수도사업소는 환경의 중요성과 인식 제고를 위한 참여형 체험 프로그램과 연령대별 맞춤형 견학 안내를 적극적으로 추진하고 있으며, 진로 체험을 위한 자유학기제 등 다양한 견학프로그램을 진행하고 있다.
겨울캠프 초등학교 회원들은 “다양한 체험 콘텐츠로 구성된 하수도사업소 내 홍보체험관과 Sand Art를 통한 물 재생 이야기에 관한 동영상은 하수처리과정을 쉽게 이해할수 있어 매우 흥미로웠으며, 특히 내가 그린 물고기 그림을 실감형 화면에 직접 띄어 마치 아쿠아리움 속에 있는 느낌이 들어서 신선했다”고 말했다.
또한 “하수처리공정현장을 직접 눈으로 관찰함으로 인해 내가 사용하고 버려지는 물이 어떠한 과정을 거쳐 깨끗한 물로 변신하여 바다로 흘러가는지에 대해 알게되어 의미 있는 시간이 되었고, 오늘 견학을 통해 배운 내용들은 환경지킴이 되어 솔선수범하여 생활속에서 실천할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 다짐했다.
