[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남테크노파크는 지난 13일, 한국폴리텍대학 항공캠퍼스에서 ‘현장맞춤형 항공MRO 인력양성 지원사업’에 선정된 교육생들의 입교식을 개최했다고 14일 밝혔다.
‘현장맞춤형 항공MRO 인력양성 지원사업’은 도내 항공정비 전문인력 양성과 항공MRO 산업 경쟁력 강화를 위해 지자체, 기업, 지역대학이 협업한 사례로, 경상남도와 사천시의 지원을 받아 경남TP, 한국항공서비스(주), 한국폴리텍대학 항공캠퍼스가 함께 주관한 사업이다.
4기 인력양성과정은 선발된 한국폴리텍대학 항공캠퍼스, 경남도립남해대학, 동원과학기술대학교 등 도내 대학 항공정비 관련학과 졸업생(예정자) 11명을 대상으로 지난 13일부터 6월 30일까지 5개월간 한국항공서비스(주)와 한국폴리텍대학 항공캠퍼스에서 실습교육(3개월) 및 직무교육(2개월)으로 운영될 예정이다.

경남TP는 2021년(1기)부터 2022년(2-3기)까지의 교육과정을 통해 총 38명의 교육생이 항공MRO 관련 업체에 취업할 수 있도록 지원하였으며, 2023년 하반기에도 항공MRO 인력양성 5기 교육생을 선발해 지역대학의 우수 인재를 현장 실무형 정비인력으로 양성할 계획이다.
