고양소방서는 2023년 경기북부 소방기술경연대회에서 ‘종합 1위’를 차지하는 영예를 안았다.
소방기술경연대회는 지난 3월 24일부터 30일까지 긴급구조역량 및 현장대응능력을 향상시키고자 양주시 백석생활체육공원 등에서 구조·구급·최강소방관·화재진압·화재감식 등 5개 분야에 걸쳐 진행되었으며, 경기북부 11개 소방서 대표 선수들이 참가하여 각 소방서의 명예를 걸고 치열한 경쟁을 펼쳤다.

고양소방서는 이번 대회에 소방공무원 20여명이 참가했으며, 그 결과 전 분야에서 고루 우수한 성적을 거둬 종합우승을 차지했다. 분야별로는 화재감식 1위, 구조전술 2위를 차지했다.
