세종시의회 2027 하계세계대학경기대회 추진 특별위원회(위원장 김현미, 이하 대회특위)가 종합체육시설 조기건립을 통해 차질없는 대회준비를 당부했다.
27일 제2차 회의를 개최한 대회특위는 이날 특위 활동계획안을 채택하고 업무보고를 청취했다.

업무 보고를 청취한 김학서 위원은 대회 마스터플랜을 조기에 작성하여 특위에 보고해달라고 주문했으며, 박란희 위원은 경기장의 주차공간 확보방안, 공간 활용방안, 경기장 및 숙소 추진 상황 등에 대해 질의하고 대책을 촉구하였다.
안신일 부위원장은 세계대학경기대회인 만큼 교육청과의 협업을 통한 학생들 참여방안 등에 대해 의견을 개진하였으며, 김영현 위원은 경기장 사후 활용방안에 대해 설계단계부터 고민하도록 당부했다.
