한반도 남북사람, 이재운 소설가가 키우는 고양이들처럼, 두려움 없이, 제 멋대로 코를 골면서 잠을 잘 수 있는 때가 도래했으면 합니다! 필자의 지인이신, 이재운 소설가가 페이스 북에 아래와 같은 글과 사진을 올렸습니다.
"제목=세상에서 가장 편하게 잠을 자는 고양이 '오드리'
눈 뜨자마자 버려져 물 달라, 밥 달라 울고 다니던 오드리, 가족이 된 뒤로 아주 편하게 잘 잔다. 세상 모든 생명이 이 아이처럼 사랑 받으며, 사랑스럽게 살기를 기도한다. 오드리 생모는 2019년 6월 초쯤 새끼 3마리를 낳았다. 새끼들이 눈 뜨고 젖 먹던 중에 마침 시에서 중성화 수술을 해준다고 이 길고양이들에게 사료와 물을 주던 공장에서 오드리 생모를 보냈다. 이런 일이 아주 드문데, 암컷이다 보니 수술이 까다로웠던지 돌아오지 못하고 병원에서 죽었다. 충격을 받았는지 두 마리가 사라지고, 한 마리만 남아 공장에서 지금까지 거두고 있단다.

'새끼 두 마리는 죽었는지 살았는지 몰라요. 워낙 어릴 때라서요'. 그 '죽었는지 살았는지 모를 두 마리' 중 한 마리가 오드리다. 오드리는 며칠이나 길을 헤맸는지 모르지만 2019년 7월 20일에, 목마르고, 배고파 엄마 찾아다니느라 이리저리 헤매던 중 우연히 나를 보고는 죽을힘을 다해 울어 기어이 한 식구가 되었다. 덕분에 나는 개 네 마리, 고양이 두 마리 기르느라고 힘들지만, 그때 '우리 오드리 못 만났으면 어쩔 뻔 했냐'면서 서로 뽀뽀를 해댄다."
한반도 남북사람, 이재운 소설가가 키우는 고양이들처럼, 아주 평안하게, 태평 성대한 세상에서, 발을 주욱 뻗고, 두려움 없이, 제 멋대로 코를 골면서 잠을 잘 수 있는 때가 도래했으면 합니다!
고양이 보다 못한 한민족, 이게 한민족 현재의 생존 지위입니다! 뭔가, 바꿔져야 합니다. 남한사람도 불안한데, 북한사람 얼마나 불안하겠습니까? 고양이는 네 발을 쭈욱 뻗고 아무 두려움없이 드러누워 아주 평온하게 잠을 자고 있네요. 국내외 1억명 한민족은 왜 고양이보다 못한 존재이나요?<2023.5.8.> moonilsuk@naver.com

*[Poetry] The Korean people worse than cats
Why are 100 million Koreans at home and abroad inferior to cats?

I hope that the time will come when people from the North and South Koreas, like the cats raised by novelist Lee Jae-woon, can snore freely without fear! An acquaintance of the author, novelist Lee Jae-woon, posted the following text and photo on Facebook.
"Title = 'Audrey', the cat who sleeps most comfortably in the world
Audrey, who was abandoned as soon as she woke up and cried for water and food, sleeps very comfortably after becoming his family. I pray that all life in the world will be loved and live lovingly like this child. Audrey's mother gave birth to three puppies in early June 2019. While the kittens opened their eyes and were suckling, the factory that provided food and water to these stray cats just said that the city was going to neuter them, and Audrey's birth mother was sent. This is very rare, but since she was a female, the surgery was difficult, so she died in the hospital without coming back. Two of them disappeared as if they were shocked, and only one remains, which the factory has been harvesting until now.
'I don't know if the two cubs are dead or alive. It's because I was very young'. One of those 'two dead or alive' is Audrey. Audrey may have been wandering around for days, but on July 20, 2019, while wandering around looking for her thirsty and hungry mother, she accidentally saw me and cried as hard as she could, so she became one of my family. Thanks to that, I'm having a hard time raising four dogs and two cats, but then we kiss each other, saying, 'What would we have done if we hadn't met Audrey?'
I hope that the time will come when people from the North and South Koreas, like the cats raised by novelist Lee Jae-woon, can sleep in a very peaceful, carefree and magnificent world, with their feet stretched out, without fear, and snoring as they please!
The Korean people worse than cats, this is the current survival status of the Korean people! Something has to change. South Koreans are also anxious, but how anxious are North Koreans? The cat is sleeping very peacefully, stretched out on all fours and lying on its back without any fear. Why are 100 million Koreans at home and abroad inferior to cats?<2023.5.8.>
