한국농어촌공사 파주지사는 16일, 관내 기초생활수급자 독거노인 가구의 주거환경 개선을 위한 “농촌 집 고쳐주기” 활동을 실시하였다.

“농촌 집 고쳐주기”활동은 농촌 취약계층의 주거환경 개선을 지원하기 위해 농림축산식품부와 재단법인 다솜둥지복지재단이 시행하는 사업으로 정부 예산 및 후원을 통해 공사에서 실시해오고 있다.
올해는 전국적으로 85개 가구를 대상으로 추진 중이다.

지자체 협조로 파주시 조리읍에 위치한 수혜가구를 선정하고, 파주지사 직원들이 수혜가구를 방문하여 전문 시공업체와 함께 폐자재 철거, 지붕 및 창호시설 보수, 도배.장판 등의 작업을 실시해 위험하고 위태롭던 주거환경을 안전하고 쾌적한 보금자리로 변모시켰다.
