영덕군, 축산면 상원리 경로당 준공

【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박희경 기자=영덕군은 지난 22일 축산면 상원리 신축 경로당에 대한 준공식을 개최했다고 23일 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 상원리 경로당은 총사업비 4억 원을 들여 기존의 경로당 터에 연면적 130제곱미터 철근콘크리트 구조로 설계해 작년 5월에 착공해 올해 6월에 준공했다.

이날 준공식에는 김광열 영덕군수를 비롯해 손덕수 영덕군의회 의장과 군의원들, 황재철 도의원, 각급 기관·사회단체장 등 100여 명이 참석했다.

행사는 상원리 이장 장세환의 경과보고로 시작해 주요 참석 인사들의 축사, 감사패 전달, 테이프 커팅식, 축하공연 순으로 진행됐다.

장세환 상원리 이장은 “깨끗하고 넓은 공간에서 주민들이 화합하고 친목을도모할 수 있게 되어 매우 기쁘고, 평소 군정 발전과 어르신들의 복지향상에각별한 관심과 애정으로 살피시는 군수님과 영덕군의회의 세심한 배려로 새로운 보금자리를 마련하게 되어 감사하다”고 소감을 전했다.

김광열 영덕군수는 “경로당은 어르신들의 복지향상에 기여하고 주민들이소통하고 화합하는 소중한 공간”이라며, “새로 지어진 깨끗한 공간에서 주민들의삶이 더 건강해지고 행복해지시기를 바란다”고 전했다.
