(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 15일 지역사회 중심 재활사업의 일환으로 부천시 자연생태공원에서 장애인 야외체험활동을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 활동은 총 16명의 대상자가 참여한 가운데 부천동종합사회복지관 및 심곡동종합사회복지관과 연계해 추진됐다.
프로그램은 자연생태공원 내 수목원 산책, 스트레칭, 해설사와 함께하는 가을 식물 체험 등 자연과 함께하는 시간으로 진행돼 참여자들의 호응을 얻었다.
참여자들은 "함께 운동할 수 있는 기회가 주어져 좋았다”, “집에만 있었는데 야외에 나가 도시락도 먹고, 이야기도 나누면서 좋은 풍경을 보니 힐링이 되었다”고 말했다.
조용익 부천시장은 “이번 활동이 외출이 힘든 장애인들에게 좋은 추억을 만드는 기회가 되었길 바란다. 앞으로도 많은 장애인이 참여할 수 있는 체험활동을 추진할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
