서울특별시 영등포구 도림로129길 2-1 (문래동2가)에 위치한 아트필드 갤러리는 최근 발표한 보도자료를 통해 “조각가 문희(Moon-E)의 초대전 <바람을 보다>가 문래 골목 숲길에 위치한 아트필드 갤러리에서 3월 1일부터 열리고 있다”고 알렸다.
아트필드 갤러리는 이 자료에서 “한결 따뜻해져가는 날씨에 곧 피어날 꽃처럼, 하늘하늘 피어오르는 듯한 형상을 견고한 물성을 가진 재료로 빚어낸 < Delight Ⅱ 환희 Ⅱ>가 이번 전시의 메인 작품이다. 바람으로 인해 땅에서 피어오르듯, 물감이 물속에서 퍼지듯, 상승하는 형태의 작품은 마치 흩날리는 천을 보는 것처럼 가녀리고 우아하지만 동시에 강인한 생명력을 가지고 있다. 이처럼 조각임에도 여리고 부드러운 느낌은 패션을 전공하여 천과 같은 부드럽고 가벼운 것이 가지는 힘과 형태의 아름다움을 잘 알고 있는 문희 작가의 작품들이 가지고 있는 특유의 개성”이라고 소개했다.
