지금 더불어민주당은 허상이다. 이재명도 조국도 희희낙낙 동상이몽. 꿈에 젖어 있겠지만. 김부겸 대망론이 번지면 그 둘은 ‘깨몽’이다. 꿈을 깨라는 뜻이다. 이재명과 조국의 아킬레스건은 사법 리스크다. 그렇기에 그토록 공천 과정에서 제 편으로 알 박기를 했던 것이다. 조국은 대법원 재판 결과가 나올텐데. 민주당은 조국이 철창에 가길 바라고 있을 것이다.
조국이 철창에 가지 않고 있으면, 이재명 입지가 불안해지기 때문이다. 친(親)이재명 ‘국회의원’들에게 가장 우려되는 시나리오. 조국무죄 재명유죄. 그렇게 되면 눈치 빠른 국회의원들이 조국에게 쏠릴 것이다. 조국은 그걸 내다보고 있기에 이토록 격렬히 저항하는 중이다. 사실. 이재명보다는 조국이 표 확장력이 더 있을 것이다. 왜냐하면 조국 혐의는 부정입학으로 국한되기 때문이다. 반면 이재명 혐의는 부동산 관련 비리다. 그리고 조국은 최소한 패륜적 극언은 한 적이 없다. 따라서 국민에게 모든 걸 사과하고 조민이 중졸로 만족한다고 하면 끝이다.
부자 아빠를 둔 조민은 그 부자 아빠가 대통령만 된다면 영애가 될 판에 무슨 학력이 중요할까. 학력도 필요 없다.

처음 정치를 했던 곳은 경기 군포라고 한다. 그리고 대구에서 민주당으로 출마해 당선된 저력이 있다. 그가 민주당 대선 후보로 나서면 국민의힘이 매우 어려운 싸움이 될 수 있다. TK 한 축이 이탈하기 때문이다. 물론 김부겸이 총리를 맡는다면 ‘개딸’들이 입에 거품을 물고 물어뜯을 것이다. 하지만 김부겸도 승부수를 던져야 한다. 도박을 해야 한다는 뜻이다. 그냥 이대로 가면 김부겸은 이재명 시다바리 밖에 되지 못한다. 아니. 더 솔직히. 친명 국회의원들의 표적이 될 것이다.
그리고 또 하나. 민주당 내에서 전라도 인물론이 제기될 수 있다. 무슨 뜻이냐? 과거 DJ는 천신만고 끝에 당선됐다. 이후 민주당 집권 공식은 '전라도+PK' 였다. 노무현 문재인. 그리고 지난 대선에서 이재명이 떨어진 건 그가 PK 후보가 아니었고, PK 지지를 받지 못했기 때문이다. 문제는 왜 그동안 '전라도+PK' 공식이 유효했느냐이다. 그건 역설적이게도 민주당이 전국정당이라기 보다는 전라도당이었기 때문이다.
하지만 최근 선거 득표 흐름을 보면, 민주당은 수도권을 석권하고 있다. 이젠 전라도 내에서도 전라도 대통령 얘기를 꺼낼 때도 됐다는 뜻이다. 전라도가 무슨 뻐꾸기 둥지냐? 경상도 대선 후보들이 둥지에 들어가 앉게.
전주에서 정동영이 당선됐다. 그는 옛날 대선에 출마해 낙선한 적이 있다. 전라도는 비겁하다.
