더불어민주당 박지원 의원(전 국정원장)은 19일 열린 '한반도 평화 긴급 간담회' 모두발언에서 “윤석열 대통령이 전화선마저도 단절되어 남북 대화가 끊겨 있는데 차라리 '군사회담이라도 한번 하자' 이렇게 제안을 하는 것이 필요하다”고 촉구했다.
박지원 의원은 이 간담회에서 “2000년 6.15 남북정상회담 특사를 할 때 지금은 소천하신 강원룡 목사님께서 '경제는 무너져도 살릴 수 있지만 남북관계는 무너지면 다 죽는다.'고 하셨고, 김대중 대통령은 마지막까지 '남북관계는 6 15로 돌아가면 해결된다'라는 말씀을 남겼다.”면서 “김대중 전 대통령은 최초로 남북 정상이 만나는 대화를 시작했고, 노무현 대통령은 이어가셨다. 그러나 문재인 대통령은 이명박-박근혜 정권 때 단절된 남북관계를 다시 복원해서 계속 이어갔다”고 설명했다.
