공단은 올해 수산인더스트리, 고도기술 등 협력사 5개사 대상 위험성평가 절차서 개정, 유해위험요인 도출 등 기술지도를 통해 우수사업장 인정을 획득했다.
특히, 근로자 안전보건 제안·신고제도, 위험성평가가 반영된 관리감독자 순회점검, 안전보건 강조주간 운영 등 현장 중심의 안전보건활동에 대해 우수한 평가를 받았다.
공단은 향후에도 스마트 안전작업장 구축 등 재해예방과제를 발굴하여 적극적인 투자를 이어나감으로써 국민이 신뢰하는 방폐물 관리 선도기관으로 자리매김할 계획이다.
‘위험성평가 우수사례 발표대회’는 고용노동부와 안전보건공단이 사업장 산업재해 예방을 위해 2013년부터 시행하고 있다.
조성돈 한국원자력환경공단 이사장은“공단의 최우선 가치는 안전”이라며 “이해관계자의 안전과 건강을 위해 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
한편, 공단은 2일 한국원자력연구원에서 열린 제8차 방사선안전관리자 포럼에서 소규모 사업장을 위한 위험성평가 안내서 100부를 배포했다.
