충남 서산시가 응급·보건 의료 기반 확충을 통해 지역 간 의료 불균형 해소에 총력을 기울인다.
이와 관련 김용란 서산시 보건소장은 6일 시청 브리핑룸에서 기자회견을 열고 관내 두 번째 지역응급의료센터 지정 ,동부건강생활지원센터 운영 계획 등을 설명했다.
김 소장은 서산중앙병원이 중증 응급환자를 적극 수용하고 치료할 역량을 갖춰 1일부터 응급의료센터로 지정돼 운영되고 있으며, 24시간 비상진료체계가 운영된다고 밝혔다.
지역응급의료센터는 구급대가 응급환자를 우선 이송하는 핵심 거점이며, 기존 서산의료원에 추가로 서산중앙병원이 지정되면서 응급환자를 분산 수용할 수 있게 됐다.
서산시는 이번 서산중앙병원의 지역응급의료센터 지정을 위해 보건소 내 TF팀을 구성하고 충청남도와 중앙응급의료센터와 소통으로 평가위원단의 종합평가 통과에 행정력을 집중했다.
이어 김 소장은 지역주민의 건강증진을 위한 특화 보건기관으로서 올해 9월 30일 개소식을 가진 동부건강생활지원센터의 운영 계획을 밝혔다.
센터는 동문1동과 2동, 수석동 등 동부지역의 건강증진 거점으로서 가상현실을 활용한 재활과 치매관리사업 등 특화사업을 추진하게 된다.
또한, 심뇌혈관질환 예방관리, 신체활동 및 영양관리, 금연 등 지역주민의 만성질환 예방을 위한 건강생활 습관 실천 등을 지원할 계획이다.
