충남 서산시가 19일, 성연면 왕정리 일원에서 겨울철 폭설에 대비한 민관군 합동훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 훈련은 충청남도가 주최하고 서산시가 주관하며, 충청남도, 서산경찰서, 서산소방서, 육군 제1789부대 1대대, 서산시자율방재단 등 80여 명의 관계자가 참여했다.
훈련의 주요 목적은 본격적인 겨울철을 앞두고 기습적인 폭설로 인한 교통사고에 신속히 대응하기 위한 체계를 점검하는 데 있다.
참가자들은 갑작스러운 폭설로 인해 발생한 차량의 연쇄추돌 사고를 가정하고, 각 기관 간의 협조를 통해 신속한 대응 체계를 운영했다.
훈련에서는 연쇄추돌로 인해 교통이 마비된 상황을 설정하고, 이를 정상화하기 위해 제설 차량, 굴삭기, 구급 차량 등 30여 대의 장비를 투입하여 실제적인 훈련을 진행했다.
이러한 훈련은 겨울철 폭설과 한파로 인한 시민의 생명과 재산 피해를 최소화하기 위한 서산시의 노력을 보여준다.
