논산시(시장 백성현)는 지난 20일부터 21일까지 2일간 농업기술센터 농산물안전분석실에서 논산공업고등학교 바이오제약과 학생을 대상으로 잔류농약분석 이론 및 실습 교육을 실시했다고 25일 밝혔다.
논산시농업기술센터 농산물안전분석실은 지난 2018년부터 운영을 시작하여 연간 3천5벡건 이상의 농산물 안전성검사를 실시하고 있다. 또한 국제숙련도평가(FAPAS)에서도 우수한 결과를 받으며 전국적으로 분석 능력의 신뢰성을 높이 평가받고 있다.
이번 교육은 관내 고등학생을 대상으로 분석실습 교육을 지원하는 공공기관 또는 민관기업이 부재한 상황에서 논산시농업기술센터에서 인재양성을 위해 적극 협조하기로 결정하며 이뤄졌다.
1일차 잔류농약분석 이론 교육 및 2일차 실습 교육을 진행하며 잔류농약분석 뿐만 아니라 다양한 품질관리 분야의 취업에 필요한 기술들을 알아보는 기회를 제공했다.
참여한 학생과 교사는 “교내에서 할 수 없었던 실험을 분석현장에서 직접 경험할 수 있어서 취업 준비와 진로 결정에 큰 도움을 받았다”는 소감을 전했다.
농업기술센터 소장은 “앞으로도 철저한 농산물 안전성 관리뿐만 아니라 지역 인재 양성을 위해서도 적극적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 전했다.
