충남 서산시가 비정규직 근로자의 권익 증진과 고용 안정을 위해 2025년부터 비정규직 근로자 지원센터를 직영으로 운영한다고 28일 밝혔다.
이 센터는 2017년 개소 이후 민주노총 서산시위원회에 의해 운영되어 왔으며, 내년 1월부터 서산고용복지플러스센터로 이전하여 통합 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
새로운 센터는 약 400평 규모로 교육실, 회의실, 상담실, 휴게공간을 갖추고 있으며, 고용복지플러스센터 내 여러 근로 관련 기관과의 협업을 통해 효율성을 높일 계획이다.
기존 센터의 협소한 공간 문제를 해결하고, 비정규직 근로자들이 자유롭게 이용할 수 있는 환경을 조성할 예정이다.
센터 운영을 위해 공무원 1명과 공무직 1명이 배치되어 전문성과 책임성을 강화하며, 고용노동부 등 취업 관련 기관과의 협업을 통해 비정규직 근로자에게 원스톱 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
이를 통해 무료 노동법률 상담과 근로자 복지 향상을 위한 교육 및 프로그램을 확대할 계획이다.
