[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 지난해 12월 28일 전주드론축구경기장에서 열린 세계드론축구월드컵 국가대표 선발전에서 거창군 드론축구협회 소속 선수 3명이 선발됐다고 8일 전했다.
이번에 국가대표로 선발된 거창군 드론축구협회 소속 선수는 Class40 일반 국가대표 이태영 선수(거창중앙고)와 Class20 청소년 국가대표 이예준(아림초)·곽예지(샛별중) 선수다.
또한, 예비군으로 1명이 선발되어 거창군은 군부 기초지자체 중 가장 많은 선수가 국가대표로 선발되는 성과를 거뒀다.
2025년 (사)대한드론축구협회 국가대표 선발은 서류전형 평가를 거쳐 지난해 12월 28일에 조종 실기 평가, 지필시험, 기체 정비, 영어면접 등 엄정한 평가를 통해 4개 분야, 총 26명을 선발했다.
이번에 선발된 국가대표 선수는 오는 9월 전주에서 개최되는 국제드론축구연맹(FIDA)이 주관하는 2025 드론축구 월드컵 대회에 출전하게 된다.
