충남 서산시는 6일 자율방재단과 함께 서산동부전통시장 일원에서 ‘민관 합동 안전 점검의 날 캠페인’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 한파 대비 행동 요령 홍보와 서산동부전통시장 내 한파 쉼터 2곳의 안전 점검을 주제로 하여, 서산시 직원과 자율방재단원 등 20여 명이 참여하였다.
참여자들은 시장과 시외버스터미널을 방문한 시민들에게 핫팩을 배부하며 한파 대비 홍보 요령과 안전 디딤돌에 대해 안내했다.
안전 디딤돌은 긴급재난문자, 국민행동요령, 무더위·한파 쉼터, 병원 위치 등 다양한 재난안전 정보를 제공하는 앱으로, 시민들의 안전을 돕기 위해 활용되고 있다.
또한, 참여자들은 시민들이 일상생활 속 위험 요소를 쉽게 신고할 수 있는 ‘안전신문고’ 앱의 설치 방법과 신고 요령도 안내하였다.
서산시는 매월 4일을 안전 점검의 날로 정하고, 이 날이 포함된 매월 첫 주를 안전 강조 주간으로 지정하여 시민들이 생활 속 안전 의식을 높일 수 있도록 독려할 계획이다.
한편, 이날 참석자들은 2월 1일부터 5월 15일까지의 산불 조심 기간에 맞추어 산불 예방 안전 수칙과 산불 발생 시 대피 요령에 대한 홍보도 병행하였다.
