브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령에 대한 탄핵심판이 막바지로 향하는 가운데, 탄핵 찬반 집회가 점차 규모가 커지고 있다.
전광훈 사랑제일교회 목사가 이끄는 대한민국바로세우기국민운동본부와 자유통일당 등은 15일 오후 1시경부터 서울 광화문역 6번 출구 동화면세점 앞에서 '자유통일을 위한 국민대회'를 개최했다.
주최 측이 신고한 집회 인원은 4만명이다. 이에 경찰은 세종대로 양방면을 통제하고 기동대를 투입해 차로와 인도 통행을 제한하고 있다.
시청역에서 광화문 광장으로 이어지는 곳에도 철제 펜스를 설치하고 안전사고에 대비했다.
탄핵 기각을 외치는 윤 대통령 지지자들은 '탄핵무효 이재명 구속', '조기대선 조기총선' 등이 적힌 손펫말을 흔들거나, 태극기와 성조기를 들고 광장을 누볐다.

또한 세이브코리아가 주최한 국가비상기도회가 5·18 민주화운동의 중심지였던 광주 금남로에서도 열렸다.
세이브코리아는 광주 동구 금남로에서 비상계엄으로 탄핵된 윤석열 대통령을 지지하는 국가비상기도회를 개최했다. 주최측 추산 약 1만명의 참석자들이 태극기와 성조기를 들고 금남로 거리를 메웠다.

이날 행사에는 한국사 강사 전한길씨가 참석해 발언하고 광주 시내를 도보 행진할 예정이다.
반면 탄핵을 찬성하는 집회도 함께 열린다. 금남로에선 탄핵 찬성 집회도 예정돼 있어, 경찰은 차벽을 설치해 양측을 분리할 예정이다.
아울러 퇴진비상행동은 이날 오후 5시부터 8시 30분까지 광화문 동십자교차로에서 적선교차로까지 집회를 연다. 주최측 집회 참여 신고 인원은 2만명이다.
