이랜드리테일이 패션 브랜드 'NC베이직'을 유통형 SPA 모델로 선보이며 시장에 본격 진출한다. NC베이직은 오는 3월 1일 NC 송파점에 198㎡ 규모의 모델 매장을 리뉴얼 오픈하고, '어반 베이직 웨어'를 주제로 의류와 잡화 등 130여 가지 스타일을 선보인다. 가격은 1만9900원 데님부터 유럽산 프리미엄 리넨 셔츠까지 다양하다.
NC베이직은 "WEAR THE BEST, EVERY DAY"라는 콘셉트 아래 데일리 아이템, 출근룩, 액티브웨어, 라운지웨어 등 다양한 상품을 제공할 예정이다. 이랜드리테일은 합리적인 가격과 품질을 동시에 갖춘 제품을 빠르게 공급할 수 있는 유통망을 보유하고 있다.
해외에서도 유통형 SPA 모델이 활발히 운영되고 있으며, NC베이직은 지난해 100억 원대 매출을 기록했다. 이랜드는 해외 소싱 법인과 자가 공장을 통해 고품질의 의류를 생산하고 있으며, 올해는 패스트패션 특성을 극대화하기 위해 전담 조직을 설립했다.
NC베이직의 가격 경쟁력은 특히 두드러지며, 전체 상품의 80%가 3만 원대 이하로 구성되어 있다. 지난해 1만9900원 데님은 15만 장이 판매되었고, 스웨터류도 높은 판매량을 기록했다. 이랜드리테일은 혁신적인 제조 역량을 통해 유통형 SPA 시장을 선도할 계획이다.
Eland Retail taps into the retail SPA market with NC Basic
Eland Retail is entering the market by introducing fashion brand 'NC Basic' as a retail SPA model. NC Basic will reopen a 198-square-meter model store in Songpa, NC on March 1, offering 130 styles of clothing and miscellaneous goods under the theme of 'urban basic wear'. Prices range from 1,900 won denim to premium linen shirts made in Europe.
Under the concept of “WEAR THE BEST, EVERY DAY,” NC Basic will offer a variety of products including daily items, work wear, active wear, and loungewear. Eland Retail has a distribution network that can quickly supply products with both reasonable price and quality.
The retail SPA model is also actively operating overseas, and NC Basic posted sales of 10 billion won last year. The company produces high-quality apparel through overseas sourcing entities and its own factories, and this year it established a dedicated organization to maximize its fast fashion characteristics.
NC Basic's price competitiveness is particularly strong, with 80 percent of its products priced at 30,000 won or less. Last year, 150,000 pieces of 19,000 won denim were sold, and sweaters also sold well. Eland Retail plans to lead the retail SPA market through its innovative manufacturing capabilities.
