윤석열 대통령이 23일 전국적 산불 피해 및 희생자 발생 관련해 "산불 진화 과정에서 안타깝게 생명을 잃으신 진화대원·공무원 네 분 명복을 빈다"고 추모했다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오전 페이스북을 통해 "진화대원·공무원들의 헌신적 노력으로 신속하게 진화된 곳이 많지만 아직도 5곳에서 악전고투를 벌이고 있고 이재민도 늘고 있어 정말 안타깝다"면서 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 "대피소에서 밤을 지새우는 이재민들과 모든 피해자분들께 진심으로 위로를 드린다"며 "진화대원과 관련 공무원들 안전도 기도한다"고 했다.
또 "전국에서 30건의 산불로 큰 피해가 발생했다"며 "정부·지자체가 가용한 자산을 총동원해 산불을 빨리 진화하고 이재민들을 잘 도와주시길 바란다"고 당부했다.
