[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 한국승강기안전공단((KoELSA)은 지난 23일 행정안전부로부터 재난안전 분야 전문교육 대행기관으로 지정(‘25. 3. 19.)된 것을 계기로, 승강기 인재 양성 전문교육기관으로 새롭게 출범하기 위해 거창군 남상면에 위치한 승강기 인재개발원에서 현판식을 개최했다고 24일 밝혔다.
이날 현판식에는 구인모 거창군수, 김주이 행정안전부 안전정책국장, 고성균 한국승강기안전공단 이사장을 비롯해 대내외 주요 인사 30여 명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.
승강기 인재개발원은 지난해 5월 30일 승강기 산업복합관으로 개관한 이후, 승강기 직무·기술 교육과 119 소방대원 대상 승강기 안전교육 등 승강기 안전 분야에 특화된 전문교육을 체계적으로 제공해 왔다. 앞으로는 재난 대응능력 향상과 함께 산업 현장에 즉시 투입 가능한 맞춤형 실무 인재를 양성하는 중추적 기관으로서의 역할을 더욱 강화할 계획이다.
고성균 한국승강기안전공단 이사장은 “승강기 인재개발원이 승강기 안전 및 산업 분야의 우수한 전문 인재를 양성하는 핵심 기관으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
