전북특별자치도 부안군은 MOU 체결 방식으로 지난 3월 1차 19명 입국에 이어 청사 2층 대강당에서 베트남 카마우성 터이빈현 외국인 계절근로자 30명의 입국 환영식을 개최했다.
이번에 입국한 외국인 계절근로자들은 지난 2월 부안군과 농협 관계자들이 베트남을 방문해 현지 기관과 협력, 1차 서류심사를 통과한 지원자를 대상으로 면접 등의 절차를 거쳐 성실성과 숙련도를 갖춘 50명이다.
특히 농작업에 필요한 기본적인 체력과 의사소통 능력 및 적응력ㆍ성실성 등이 종합적으로 평가돼 선발됐다.
선발된 근로자는 지난 24일 입국 직후 마약 검사 등 필수 교육과정을 이수했으며 환영 행사로 첫 일정을 시작했다.
