진주시, 농지법 시행 이전 형질변경 토지 지목 현실화 추진

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 농지법 시행 이전부터 주택, 창고 등 비농업 용도로 이용되고 있지만 지적공부상 전, 답, 과수원 등 농지로 등록된 토지를 대상으로 지목 현실화 사업을 본격 추진한다고 13일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 현실과 맞지 않는 지목 등록으로 인해 행정 처리 과정에서 혼선을 빚고, 토지 소유자의 재산권 행사에 제약이 발생하는 문제를 해소하기 위해 시가 오는 2026년까지 2년간 해당 사업을 단계적으로 진행할 계획이다.

진주시는 항공사진, 건축물대장 등 각종 공적 자료와 현장 조사를 토대로 384필지를 1차 대상지로 선별했으며, 이후 해당 토지 소유자에게 개별 안내를 실시하고, 자발적인 지목변경 신청을 통해 지적공부를 정리할 예정이다.

진주시 관계자는 “이번 사업을 통해 지목이 실제 이용 현황에 맞게 정리되면 행정의 정확성이 높아지고, 재산권 행사도 보다 원활해질 것으로 기대된다”며“대상 토지 소유자들는 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다” 고 말했다.
