고용노동부 고양지청(지청장 박철준)이 16일 LG디스플레이와 원·하청 상생협력을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 발표했다.
이날 오후 2시 LG디스플레이에서 열린 협약식에는 박철준 고양지청장과 LG디스플레이 주요 임원, 협력사 대표단이 참석해 상생협력 의지를 다졌다.

이번 협약을 통해 고용노동부 고양지청과 LG디스플레이, 협력사들은 △노동약자 보호와 노사법치 확립을 위한 노무관리 지원 △원·하청 산업재해 예방을 위한 협력체계 강화 △협력사 채용지원 및 직업훈련 연계 △일하는 부모의 출산·육아 지원 확산 등 4개 분야에서 긴밀히 협력하기로 했다.
특히 대기업과 중소 협력사 간의 상생협력을 통해 지역 내 노동환경 개선과 고용안정을 도모한다는 점에서 의미가 크다.
LG디스플레이 박진남 구매그룹장은 "동반성장과 상생의 가치 실현과 고용노동정책 확산의 가교 역할을 하겠다"고 밝혔다.
협력사인 ㈜코멧 이철구 대표도 "지역 내 상생협력 분위기 확산에 동참하고 노동약자 보호를 실천하겠다"고 다짐했다.

박철준 지청장은 "오늘 협약이 지역 내 상생협력 분위기 확산의 초석이 되기를 바란다"며 "협력사의 노동약자 보호와 노사법치 확립, 안전문화 확산, 일자리 창출력 제고 등을 통해 따뜻하고 안전한 노동현장 조성을 기대한다"고 말했다.
