[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 23일 가야대학교 강당에서 관내 19개 읍·면·동 이·통장 801명을 대상으로 2025년 이·통장 직무교육을 실시했다.
이번 교육은 주민과 행정의 가교역할을 수행하는 이·통장들의 현장 활동에 필요한 직무역량을 높이고 봉사자로서의 가치와 자세를 되새기기 위해 마련됐다. 이·통장은 복지사각지대 발굴, 주민등록 사실조사 등 실질적인 행정 업무를 지원하는 중요한 역할을 맡고 있어 책임성과 전문성 강화가 지속적으로 요구된다.
교육은 오전과 오후 두 차례에 걸쳐 진행됐으며 홍태용 시장의 특강과 경상국립대학교 한상덕 교수의 초청 강연이 차례로 이어졌다.
홍 시장은 특강에서 “이·통장님들은 김해의 모세혈관과 같다. 행정의 손길이 골고루 미치도록 돕는 아주 소중한 존재”라며 자신의 의사 경험을 토대로 건강검진의 중요성을 언급하면서 “지역을 돌보는 만큼 스스로의 건강도 잘 챙기시길 바란다”고 말했다.
이어 이·통장들이 각 읍·면·동에서 해온 산불 피해 성금 기탁, 급식 봉사, 이웃돕기 성품 전달 등 다양한 지역 밀착형 활동들을 소개하며 ‘보이지 않는 봉사’의 가치를 되새기는 시간을 가졌다.
한 교수의 강의에서는 ‘지역 리더의 바람직한 가치관과 실천’이라는 주제로, 동양 고전을 해학적으로 풀어내며 유쾌함과 감동을 전달한 강의는 활기 넘치는 분위기 속에서 삶의 지혜와 리더십에 대한 깊은 성찰을 이끌어내며 청중의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
