브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대차그룹은 지난 6월 30일부터 7월 2일까지 2박 3일간 경기도 양평에 있는 블룸비스타 호텔앤컨퍼런스에서 전국 아동보호전문기관 종사자 200명을 대상으로 ‘아이케어 업(i-CARE UP)’ 행사를 개최했다고 3일 밝혔다.
지난해에 이어 올해로 2회째를 맞은 ‘아이케어 업’ 행사는 학대 피해아동과 학대 행위자를 대면하는 아동보호전문기관 종사자들의 업무 스트레스 해소와 직무 역량 강화를 위해 마련됐다.
현대차그룹은 이번 행사에서 전국에 있는 72개 아동보호전문기관 상담원과 치료사를 초청해 2박 3일간 △업무교류 △스트레스 관리 및 DIY 프로그램 △힐링 뮤지컬 관람 등 참가자들의 업무 피로도 해소를 위한 다양한 프로그램을 제공했다.
아울러 상담원들의 직무 역량 강화를 위해 △아동 및 부모 면접 상담기술 △현장 적용 법률 강의 △연사 특강 등 전문성을 키울 수 있는 기회도 마련했다.
특히, 행사 마지막 날에는 가정 상담 전문가인 오은영 정신의학과 박사를 초청, ‘아동보호전문기관 종사자의 특별한 소통법’을 주제로 학대 피해아동 사례 관리와 상담기법 등 업무 현장에서 적용 가능한 노하우를 공유하는 시간을 가졌다.
2014년부터 아동학대 예방을 위한 ‘아이케어(i-CARE)’ 사업을 진행하고 있는 현대차그룹은 심리상담전용 차량을 지원하는 ‘아이케어 카’와, 학대피해아동 쉼터 리모델링을 지원하는 ‘아이케어 홈’ 사업 등을 통해 아동 보호 종합지원 체계 구축을 위한 노력을 이어갈 계획이다.
현대차그룹 관계자는 “2014년부터 11년째 진정성을 가지고 학대피해아동 지원과 아동학대 예방을 위해 다양한 방면에서 지원을 이어가고 있다”며 “앞으로도 더 많은 아이들이 안전한 환경에서 성장할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

안전 영역에서 부상 군인 재활을 돕는 의료용 착용 로봇, 소방관 회복지원을 위한 수소전기버스 기증 사업 등을 이어오고 있으며, 친환경ᆞ미래세대 영역에서는 친환경 대학생리더 육성 사업 ‘해피무브’, 대학생 교육봉사단 ‘H-점프스쿨’ 등의 사업을 전개하고 있다.
