거창군, ‘여름나기 키트’ 2차 지원

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 5일 거창군자원봉사센터에서 거창군 재향군인회여성회(회장 양미숙) 회원 10여 명이 참여해 관내 폭염 취약계층을 위한 시원한 ‘여름나기 키트’ 70세트를 제작·지원했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 사업은 경남사회복지공동모금회가 주최하고, 경상남도와 거창군 자원봉사센터가 주관해 2차 여름나기 키트를 전달했다. 이를 통해 기후 위기에 취약한 계층의 여름철 어려움을 덜고, 안부 확인과 돌봄을 통해 따듯한 지역공동체를 만드는 데 기여했다.

‘시원한 여름나기 키트’ 는 서큘레이터, 여름이불, 냉감패드, 팔토시, 미숫가루, 햇반 등 6종으로 구성·제작되었으며 읍·면 행정복지센터에서 추천된 장애인과 한부모가구 등 70세대에 각각 전달될 예정이다.

키트 만들기에 참여한 자원봉사자들은 “폭염에 상대적으로 취약한 가정에 꼭 필요한 물건들로 키트가 잘 구성되었다”며, “정성을 다한 만큼 어려운 가구에 잘 전달되어 무더운 여름을 건강하게 잘 보내면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
