브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넥슨은 ‘메이플스토리’ IP를 활용한 상설 PC방 ‘메이플 아지트(MAPLE AGIT)’를 서울 강남역 인근에 마련하고, 오는 10월 18일부터 11월 2일까지 ‘스페셜 오픈’ 행사를 진행할 거라고 12일 밝혔다.
‘메이플 아지트’는 총 181석, 약 200평 규모의 ‘메이플스토리’ 테마 PC방으로, 2024년 7월 제주 넥슨컴퓨터박물관에 오픈한 ‘카페 메이플스토리’에 이은 두 번째 플래그십 공간이다.
넥슨은 접근성이 뛰어난 강남역 인근 ‘메이플 아지트’를 통해 제주에 이은 서울에도 ‘메이플스토리’ IP 상설 공간을 조성, 이용자 접점과 오프라인 경험을 확장해 나간다는 계획이다.
10월 18일부터 11월 2일까지 ‘스페셜 오픈’ 기간은 사전 예약으로만 운영하며, 11월 3일부터는 누구나 자유롭게 현장을 방문할 수 있다.
