[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시의 양주여성새로일하기센터(이하 양주새일센터)와 서정대학교 산학협력단 베이비부머 행복캠퍼스(이하 행복캠퍼스)가 지난 15일 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 양주시 지역 내 안정적인 일자리 확보와 인재 양성을 목표로 하고 있다.
양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 ▲구인·구직 및 취업상담 연계 ▲취·창업 교육 지원 ▲양주 관내 직업정보 제공 ▲집단상담 프로그램 운영 등 다양한 협력 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
이는 지역사회와 교육기관이 협력해 중장년과 여성, 청년 등 다양한 계층의 취업 역량을 강화하고, 현장 중심의 실무교육을 통해 지역 기업과 연계한 일자리 창출을 도모하는 데 의미가 있다.
서정대 염일열 센터장은 “실무 능력을 갖춘 인재를 양성하고, 양주 시민들의 사회 진출을 적극적으로 지원해 지역사회 발전에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.
양주새일센터 이용명 센터장도 “이번 협약을 통해 지역 대학과의 협력 기반을 강화하고, 시민들이 양주에서 안정적으로 생활하며 경제활동을 이어갈 수 있도록 자족도시 구현에 힘쓰겠다”고 강조했다.
양 기관은 앞으로 구체적인 공동 사업을 발굴하고 성과를 공유하며, 지속 가능한 협력 모델을 마련해 나갈 계획이다.
