브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= LG유플러스는 추석 연휴 해외여행을 계획 중인 고객들이 로밍 서비스를 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 해외 로밍 프로모션을 진행한다고 17일 밝혔다.
이번 프로모션은 △기내 와이파이 무료 제공 △음성 통화 최대 40분 △데이터 2배 등 3종으로 구성됐다.
우선, 오는 18일부터 내년 2월 28일까지 ‘로밍패스 13GB(5만9000원)’ 이상 요금제에 가입하고, 대한항공 장거리 국제선(8시간 이상) 항공편을 이용하는 고객에게는 기내 와이파이 무료 이용권이 제공된다.
추첨을 통해 선정된 고객 2000명은 이달 19일부터 내년 2월 28일까지 무료로 제공되는 기내 와이파이를 활용해 항공기 내에서도 메신저, 이메일, 인터넷 검색 등 다양한 서비스를 편리하게 이용할 수 있다.
추석 연휴를 앞두고 로밍 서비스를 신청한 고객은 무료 음성 통화도 이용할 수 있다. 이달 30일까지 ‘로밍패스 8GB(4만4000원)’ 이상 요금제에 가입하고 ‘유플러스닷컴’에서 혜택을 신청한 고객 전원에게는 해외에서 최대 40분간 비용 부담없이 음성통화를 할 수 있는 혜택이 제공된다. 무료 통화 혜택은 다음달 1일부터 12일까지 해외 83개국에서 자유롭게 활용할 수 있다.
이 밖에도 LG유플러스는 ‘로밍패스 8GB(4만4000원)’ 이상 요금제 가입 고객 전원에게 데이터를 2배 제공한다. 고객은 해외 현지에서 추가 데이터를 활용해 지도 검색이나 메신저, 동영상 스트리밍 등 데이터 소모가 큰 서비스를 걱정없이 이용할 수 있다.
