브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국내 대표 김밥 프랜차이즈들의 식품위생법 위반 실태가 심각한 것으로 나타났다.
국회 보건복지위원회 소속 장종태 더불어민주당 의원이 식품의약품안전처로부터 제출받은 자료에 따르면, 2020년~2025년 현재까지 매장 수 기준 상위 5개 김밥 프랜차이즈의 식품위생법 위반 적발 건수는 총 321건에 달했다.
업체별로는 김밥천국이 191건으로 전체의 59.5%를 차지하며 압도적 1위를 기록했다. 이는 2위 고봉민김밥(54건)의 3.5배, 3위 김가네(52건)의 3.7배 수준이다. 이어 얌샘김밥 19건, 선비꼬마김밥 5건 순으로 집계됐다.
연도별로 보면 2020년 64건에서 2021년 68건, 2022년 70건으로 증가했으나 2023년 54건으로 감소, 2024년에는 59건으로 다시 9% 증가했다. 김밥천국은 2020년 43건에서 2021년 48건으로 늘었다가 2022년 34건, 2023년 28건으로 감소했으나, 2024년 35건으로 다시 증가 추세를 보였다.
세부 위반 유형을 보면, 김밥천국은 ‘위생적 취급기준 위반’ 55건, ‘기준 및 규격 위반’ 43건이 절반 이상을 차지했다.
