브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 대통령실은 ‘10·15 부동산 대책’과 관련해 “이재명 정부는 부동산이 유일무이한 투자수단이 되는 것을 경계하고 있다”고 20일 밝혔다.
김남준 대통령실 대변인은 이날 오후 브리핑에서 “주식시장 등 다른 투자처의 다변화를 통해 우리 경제가 보다 선순환할 수 있는 구조를 고민하고 있다”며 이같이 말했다.
김 대변인은 여권 내에서도 10·15 부동산 정책 관련 찬반 의견이 갈린다는 지적에는 “부동산 문제는 하루아침에 해결될 수 있는 사안이 아니라는 점을 국민들께서 잘 이해하고 계신다”며 “이번 대책은 급격한 가격 상승을 억제하려는 취지에서 마련된 것”이라고 설명했다.
이어 김용범 정책실장이 부동산 대책 논란과 관련해 “불가피한 선택이었다”고 밝히며 공급 방안을 예고한 것과 관련해선 “이미 공급대책을 발표한 바 있으며, 해당 정책들이 차질 없이 추진될 것”이라고 강조했다.
또한 구윤철 경제부총리 겸 기획재정부 장관이 부동산 보유세 강화가 조세 원칙인 ‘응능부담’(납세 능력에 따라 부담) 취지에 부합한다고 밝힌 것에 대해서는 “현재로서는 특별히 추가로 말씀드릴 부분이 없다”고 말했다.
그러면서 “보유세 인상 여부에 대해 지금 시점에서는 구체적으로 밝힐 계획은 없다”고 덧붙였다.
