브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회는 지난 1일 과천시민회관 시계탑 광장에서 열린 ‘2025년 과천 김장축제’를 후원하고, 지역사회와 함께 따뜻한 나눔의 장에 동참했다고 3일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 과천시종합사회복지관이 주관하고 관내 기업·사회단체·시민이 함께한 과천 지역 최초의 공동 김장 나눔 행사로, 시민 참여와 지역 공동체 정신이 어우러진 자리로 진행됐다.
이날 행사에는 신계용 과천시장, 하영주 과천시의회 의장, 박찬정 과천시종합사회복지관장 등 주요 인사가 참석해 나눔의 뜻을 함께했다. 한국마사회에서는 김삼두 홍보실장을 비롯한 관계자들이 참여해 1000만 원을 기부했다.
봉사자들이 직접 담근 ‘김장김치 600박스(10kg)’는 저소득층, 독거어르신, 한부모 가정 등 관내 600가구에 전달됐다.
한국마사회 관계자는 “올해 김장축제는 시민의 참여와 지역공동체의 나눔 정신이 더해져 더욱 뜻깊은 행사였다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 따뜻한 마음을 나누는 사회공헌 활동을 지속해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
