[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군이 노인, 장애인, 만성질환자 등 돌봄이 필요한 모든 군민을 대상으로 지역사회 중심의 '통합 돌봄' 서비스를 제공할 핵심 거점인 ‘거창군 통합돌봄지원센터’를 개소하며 복지 전달 체계의 혁신을 선언했다.
거창군지역사회보장협의체(공공위원장 구인모 거창군수, 민간위원장 유수상) 주관으로 14일 거창군종합사회복지센터 1층에서 열린 개소식은, 지역 복지시스템의 대전환을 알렸다.
이날 개소식에는 구인모 거창군수를 비롯해 유수상 민간위원장, 도의원, 기관단체장, 그리고 현장 돌봄 전문가인 '온봄지기'와 지역사회보장협의체 위원 등 110여 명이 참석해 센터 개소에 대한 뜨거운 기대감을 반영했다.
구인모 거창군수는 “오늘 개소식은 거창군의 통합돌봄 체계가 한 단계 도약하는 뜻깊은 자리”라며 “군민이 살던 곳에서 편안하게 생활할 수 있는 거창형 돌봄체계가 본격적으로 가동되는 출발점”이라고 말했다.
또한 “오는 2026년 시행 예정인 통합돌봄지원법에 따라 중앙정부와 지방정부가 함께 지역 중심의 돌봄 체계를 제도적으로 구축하게 된다”며 “거창군은 이에 앞서 지역 맞춤형 돌봄 네트워크를 완성해 전국적인 선도 모델로 자리매김 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
