전북 군산해양경찰서는 2026년 3월 31일까지 4개월간 '비산먼지 일제 단속'을 실시한다.
이번 단속은 정부가 강화된 미세먼지 배출 저감 정책을 추진하기 위해 시행하는 '제7차 범정부 미세먼지 계절관리제' 일환이다.
'미세먼지 계절관리제'는 고농도 미세먼지 발생을 완화하고 국민건강을 보호하기 위해 그해 12월 1일부터 이듬해 3월 31일까지 평소보다 강화된 미세먼지 배출 저감·관리 조치를 시행하는 제도다.
군산해경은 이에 따라, 내년 3월 말까지 군산항을 입ㆍ출항하는 모든 선박과 비산먼지 발생 우려가 높은 하역시설 7개소를 집중 점검할 예정이다.
