브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 가상자산 거래소 업비트를 운영하는 두나무가 최근 발생한 해킹 사고와 관련해 피해자산 445억원 가운데 26억원을 동결했다고 밝혔다. 업비트는 신속한 자산 회수를 위해 전 세계 디지털자산 커뮤니티에 공조를 요청하고, 회수 기여자에게 최종 회수 금액의 10%를 보상하는 프로그램도 운영한다.
업비트는 지난달 27일 솔라나 네트워크 기반 코인이 유출되는 해킹 공격을 받아 총 445억원 규모의 자산을 탈취당했다. 이 가운데 386억원은 고객 자산, 59억원은 업비트 자체 보유분이었다. 업비트는 비정상 출금 탐지 즉시 입출금을 차단하고 지갑 시스템을 전면 교체하는 등 보안을 강화했으며, 고객 피해자산 386억원 전액을 회사 자산으로 보전해 이용자 피해가 발생하지 않도록 했다.
현재 업비트는 자체 개발한 온체인 자동 추적 서비스 ‘OTS(Onchain AI Tracer System)’를 활용해 탈취 자산의 이동 경로를 24시간 실시간 모니터링하고 있다. 확보된 관련 주소는 블랙리스트로 등록해 전 세계 거래소에 공유하고, 해당 주소에서 자산이 입금될 경우 즉시 동결 조치를 요청하고 있다.
