전북 남원시 주생면의 한 육용종계 농장에서 조류인플루엔자(AI) H5형 항원이 검출돼 방역 당국이 초동 방역에 나섰다.
이번 사례가 고병원성으로 최종 확인될 경우 올해 동절기 도내 첫 발생이자 전국적으로 10번째(충북ㆍ충남ㆍ광주ㆍ전남 각 1건) 양성 발생 사례로 기록된다.
지난달 12일 부안 소재 육용오리 농장에서 H5형 항원이 검출됐으나 고병원성 바이러스가 최종 확인되지 않아 발생 사례로 포함되지 않았다.
전북자치도는 남원시 주생면 소재 육용종계 농장에서 H5형 AI 항원이 확인돼 고병원성 여부를 정밀 검사하고 있다고 15일 밝혔다.
해당 농장은 36주령 육용종계를 사육하는 곳으로 농장주의 폐사 증가 신고에 따른 정밀검사 결과 H5형 항원이 확인됐다.
정밀검사 결과는 약 1~3일 내 확인될 예정이다.
15일 오전 10시 현재 방역본부 초동대응팀이 현장에 투입돼 출입 통제 및 소독 등 선제적 방역 조치를 실시하고 있다.
