전북 순창군의회가 전국 최초로 인공지능(AI) 기술을 지역 현안에 접목한 선도적인 정책 대안을 제시했다.
순창군의회 소속 의원 연구단체인 '순창군 AI기반 정책연구회'는 최근 '순창군 AI기반 정책연구회 용역 최종 보고회'를 개최했다고 15일 밝혔다.
이번 최종 보고회는 '순창형 스마트 케어 및 혁신 도시'를 비전으로 ▲ 복지 ▲ 농업 ▲ 행정 및 교육 ▲ 재난ㆍ안전 등 4대 핵심 분야의 구체적인 정책 로드맵이 제시됐다.
순창군의회는 이번 연구 결과를 바탕으로 관련 조례 제ㆍ개정과 예산 확보 등 후속 조치를 통해 순창군이 데이터 기반의 과학적 행정 도시로 거듭날 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.
이성용 의원은 "이번 연구는 지방 기초의회 차원에서 최초로 AI 기술을 활용, 지역 소멸 위기에 대한 실질적이고 과학적인 해법을 모색했다는 데 큰 의의가 있다"고 밝혔다.
