고양특례시가 12월 15일과 19일 양일간 일산동구청 전산교육장에서 진행한 '직원 AI 실무활용 교육'이 뜨거운 호응 속에 성공적으로 마무리됐다.
이번 교육은 고양시와 한국항공대학교 SW중심대학사업단의 협력으로 마련됐으며, 당초 30명으로 계획된 정원이 접수 시작 1분 만에 조기 마감될 정도로 직원들의 관심이 집중됐다.
이에 한국항공대학교가 보조강사를 추가 지원하면서 추가 신청자까지 수용해 최종 46명의 직원이 교육에 참여했다.
교육 과정은 생성형 AI에 대한 기본 개념부터 시작해 구글의 생성형 AI 도구인 NotebookLM을 활용한 실무 중심 실습으로 진행됐다.
주요 내용으로는 △마인드맵 생성 △문서 요약 및 브리핑 △오디오 콘텐츠 제작 △데이터 요약 △정책 동향 정리 등이 포함됐다.
시 관계자는 "직원들이 실무에 즉시 활용 가능한 다양한 AI 도구를 직접 경험해 볼 수 있는 기회가 마련됐다"며 "향후에도 생성형 AI 활용 능력 제고 등 업무 환경 변화에 대응할 수 있는 교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 발굴할 계획"이라고 밝혔다.
고양시는 이번 교육을 시작으로 AI 기술을 활용한 행정 업무 효율화와 스마트 행정 구현을 위한 다양한 교육 프로그램을 확대해 나갈 방침이다.

Goyang Special City successfully completed its 'AI Practical Training for Employees,' held at the Ilsandong-gu Office IT Training Center on December 15th and 19th, to enthusiastic response.
This training, organized in collaboration with Goyang City and Korea Aerospace University's Software-Centered University Project, attracted such high interest that the originally planned 30-student registration filled up within a minute.
Korea Aerospace University responded by providing additional assistant instructors, allowing for additional applicants, resulting in a total of 46 employees participating in the training.
The training began with basic concepts of generative AI and progressed to practical training using Google's generative AI tool, NotebookLM.
Key topics included mind map creation, document summarization and briefing, audio content production, data summarization, and policy trend analysis.
A city official stated, "This provides employees with an opportunity to experience a variety of AI tools that can be immediately applied in their work." They added, "We plan to continue developing training programs that can adapt to changing work environments, such as enhancing generative AI capabilities."
Starting with this training, Goyang City plans to expand its diverse training programs to leverage AI technology to improve administrative efficiency and implement smart administration.
