올해로 12년 차 이장인 이병종 이장단 연합회장의 강연으로 진행된 이번 교육은 ‘지방자치시대 이장의 역할’이라는 주제로 진행됐다.
지역사회 대표인 이장의 역할, 이장이 가져야 할 올바른 자세, 스마트이장넷 사용방법 등의 내용을 설명했으며 이병종 회장이 그동안 실제로 겪은 사례들을 공유하면서 참석자들에게 더욱 공감과 이해를 얻었다.
교육에 참가한 한 이장은 “다른 이장님들의 경험을 들으며 많은 것을 배울 수 있었고 마을 발전을 위해 적극 활용하겠다”고 말했다.
김승래 행정지원과장은 “행정의 최일선에서 지역 주민에게 봉사하며 군과의 가교역할을 수행하느라 늘 고생하시는 이장님들께 항상 감사드리며, 앞으로도 이장단을 위한 각종 지원 방안을 강구하겠다”고 말했다.
