(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 지난 23일 영상회의실에서 ‘민선 8기 공약이행평가단 공약사업 평가보고회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 이날 보고회에는 공약이행평가단 위원과 공약사업 담당 부서장 등 50여 명이 참석했으며, 공약사업에 대한 추진상황을 종합적으로 점검하고 객관적이고 투명한 공약이행 평가를 실시하기 위해 마련됐다.
보고회에서는 민선 8기 공약 5개 분야 55개 사업을 대상으로 분과별 이행현황 보고가 진행됐으며, 공약 추진에 대한 평가와 함께 개선사항에 대한 의견 제시, 질의응답 및 의견 수렴이 이뤄졌다.
또, 행정절차 이행 및 여건 변화 등으로 인해 공약 실천계획 조정이 필요한 청년창업지원센터 건립, 장애인복지관 및 발달장애인 평생교육센터 건립 및 시설지원 확대 등 2건의 공약사업에 대한 실천계획 변경 심의도 함께 진행됐다.

또한, 계양구가 최근 보건복지부가 주관한 ‘2025년 기초생활보장·긴급복지 사업 실적 우수 지자체’에 선정되어 국무총리 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 보건복지부는 매년 기초생활보장과 긴급복지 분야에서 우수한 성과를 거둔 지자체를 선정해 포상함으로써 일선 보장기관을 격려하고 적극적인 사업 추진을 유도하고 있다.
