[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 국립창원대학교와 한국전기연구원(KERI)이 대학과 정부출연연구기관 간의 혁신적인 협력 모델을 구축하며 지역 산업 발전의 견인차 역할을 하고 있다.
국립창원대학교는 31일, 양 기관의 공동 연구 성과를 공유하고 학연 협력을 공고히 하기 위해 국립창원대 캠퍼스에서 ‘학술교류회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
양 기관은 교육부 '글로컬대학30' 사업을 중심으로 공동 R&D 기획, 출연연 연계 교육 프로그램 운영, 현장 중심 인재 양성 모델 구축 등을 추진해 왔다.
올해 초 체결한 업무협약(MOU)을 기점으로 연구 인프라를 공동 활용하고 구체적인 협력 과제를 단계별로 수행해 온 양 기관은 이번 교류회를 통해 그간의 결실을 대외적으로 공개했다. 행사 현장에서는 ▲공동연구 소개 패널 전시(6건) ▲공동연구 논문 포스터 발표(10편) ▲AI 피지컬 로봇 등 비교과 프로그램 성과 전시가 진행되어 연구와 교육이 유기적으로 연결된 학연 모델의 정수를 보여줬다.
특히 2025년 한 해 동안 운영된 ‘KERI 리서치 캠프(Research CAMP)’는 실전형 인재 양성의 대표 사례로 주목받았다. 이번 행사에서는 학술적인 공유뿐만 아니라 연구원, 학생, 교직원이 함께 어울리는 팀워크 기반 교류 프로그램도 운영됐다.
