【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 평생학습센터는 13일 생거진천평생학습관에서 성인문해교육 문집 3권 출간을 기념하는 문학전을 개최했다.
이번 문학전은 성인문해교육 글샘학교 각 학습장에서 학습자들이 직접 쓴 시와 수필, 자전적 글 등 다양한 작품을 문집에 담아 선보이는 자리로 마련됐다.
현장에는 문해학습자, 지도교사, 마을 주민, 가족 등 50여 명이 참석해 의미 있는 날을 축하했다.
이번에 출간된 문집은 학력인정과정 문집으로 △중학 3단계 ‘일곱빛깔 무지개’, 찾아가는 마을학습장 문집으로는 △덕산읍 영무예다음1차 아파트 경로당 ‘예다음에 피어난 꽃들’, △백곡면 지곡마을 ‘지새울 느티나무’ 등 총 3권이다.
출간된 문집에는 글을 몰라 느꼈던 부끄러움과 서러움, 배움을 통해 얻은 자신감, 이제야 돌아본 자신의 인생 이야기 등 배움으로 변화된 학습자 개개인의 삶과 경험이 글과 그림으로 고스란히 담겼다.
특히 학습자들이 직접 자신의 작품을 진솔한 목소리로 낭독하며 큰 감동을 전했다.
문집에 참여한 한 학습자는 “부끄럽고 내세울 것 없던 인생인 줄 알았는데, 이 책에서 꽃을 피웠다”며 “글을 쓰며 위로받고, 글을 읽으며 한결 당당해졌다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
한미경 평생학습센터 소장은 “한 분 한 분의 글과 그림이 성인문해교육의 가치이자 삶의 변화 과정을 담은 소중한 기록”이라며 “앞으로도 성인문해교육을 통해 더 많은 이야기가 세상에 전해질 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 군은 매년 성인문해학습자를 대상으로 초등·중학 학력인정과정과 찾아가는 마을학습장을 운영하고 있으며, 고졸 검정고시 과정을 통해 학력 취득과 진학의 기회를 제공하는 등 성인 학습자들의 배움 지원에 힘쓰고 있다.

The Jincheon County Lifelong Learning Center in North Chungcheong Province held a literature exhibition on the 13th at the Saenggeo Jincheon Lifelong Learning Center to commemorate the publication of three volumes of adult literacy education anthologies.

One learner who participated in the anthology commented, "I thought my life was shameful and unassuming, but this book has blossomed. I found solace in writing, and reading has made me feel more confident."
Han Mi-kyung, director of the Lifelong Learning Center, said, "Each person's writing and drawings are a precious record of the value of adult literacy education and the process of life transformation." She added, "We will continue to provide unwavering support so that more stories can be shared with the world through adult literacy education."
Meanwhile, the county operates an annual elementary and middle school credit recognition program and a visiting village learning center for adult literacy learners. It also provides opportunities for academic achievement and advancement through the high school qualification exam program, striving to support adult learners' learning.
